LOST IN HOLLYWOOD RETURN WITH POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “WAY TOO CLOSE” FEATURING ARCHERS — LISTEN

Hamburg’s rising modern metal force Lost in Hollywood return with their brand-new single “way too close,” featuring Nathanael Pulley of Archers. Blurring the lines between modern metalcore, alternative pop and urban influences, the track sees the band push their distinctive sound into an even more emotional and dynamic direction.

Watch the video here.

Built around the fear of letting someone get too close after experiencing heartbreak, “way too close” captures the tension between craving intimacy and instinctively pulling away from it. Vulnerable melodies and an instantly memorable chorus collide with atmospheric electronic textures and crushing breakdowns, creating the sharp contrasts that have become an essential part of Lost in Hollywood’s identity.

Nathaniel Pulley adds another dimension to the track, with his unmistakable voice complementing vocalist Amon Garrasi and amplifying the song’s emotional weight. Having already shared stages across Europe with Archers earlier this year, the collaboration feels like a natural meeting point between two exciting voices in the new generation of heavy music.

For “way too close,” Lost in Hollywood once again surrounded themselves with some of the scene’s most exciting creative minds. The single was co-produced alongside Timo Bonner of Our Mirage and Manuel Kohlert of Future Palace, while Max Ivory handled mixing and mastering. The result is a polished yet hard-hitting production that gives equal space to the track’s vulnerability, infectious pop sensibility and explosive heaviness.

Formed in Hamburg in 2023, Lost in Hollywood have quickly established themselves as one of Germany’s most promising new heavy acts. Their debut album The Beauty of Death accumulated more than 1.8 million streams, while appearances including Reeperbahn Festival and extensive touring helped the band build their reputation far beyond the studio. Their rapid rise ultimately led to signing with Arising Empire, followed by a string of singles and collaborations that continued to expand their audience.

In March 2026, the band released their ambitious self-titled album Lost in Hollywood via Arising Empire, further refining their combination of emotional songwriting, massive hooks, contemporary production and uncompromising heaviness. The record featured collaborations with Of Virtue and Half Me, while subsequent touring across Europe continued to strengthen the band’s growing international presence.

Now reaching close to 90,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Lost in Hollywood are entering their next chapter with considerable momentum behind them. “way too close” captures exactly what makes the band stand out: emotionally charged vocals, modern urban pop influences and devastating heaviness brought together without sacrificing either side of their sound.

With Nathanael Pulley joining them for one of their most immediate and emotionally charged tracks yet, “way too close” is another confident step forward for a band rapidly carving out their own space in modern heavy music.
