How Orbit Culture Became A Metal Giant | OFFSTAGE with Niklas Karlsson

In this first-ever Orbit Culture documentary, you go OFFSTAGE with the band at Summer Breeze 2026, experience what is happening backstage and hear frontman Niklas Karlsson go through the band's history and his own, the milestones and live shows that took Orbit Culture from a small town in Sweden to major festival stages and arenas.

OFFSTAGE is Scream Dudes’ in-depth documentary series that follows some of metal’s most exciting bands behind the scenes.

In the latest episode, they follow Orbit Culture through a day at Summer Breeze 2026, from backstage to the tour bus to the stage and back. Frontman Niklas Karlsson opens up about 13 years of Orbit Culture: Lineup changes, burnout, labels that never wrote back, wild tour stories, and a 3am text that changed everything. It’s the first documentary on Orbit Culture, and it shows a side of the band that until now only the people on the road with them got to see.

Eric and Julius are the duo behind Scream Dudes, two aspiring metal screamers documenting their own journey. They made a name for themselves with entertaining content about metal screaming and interviews where guests from Gutalax and Machine Head to Alissa White-Gluz show and break down their techniques on camera. Their cinematic documentary series OFFSTAGE now joins the lineup as their new flagship format.

Hailing from the small town of Eksjö, Sweden, situated between the renowned metal hubs of Gothenburg and Stockholm, the quartet of guitarist and vocalist Niklas Karlsson, guitarist Richard Hansson, bassist Fredrik Lennartsson, and drummer Christopher Wallerstedt has evolved into a global force. Blending thrash, death metal, and industrial influences, the band combines crushing riffs with unforgettable hooks and a richly layered atmosphere. While inviting comparisons to Gojira, Metallica, and Static-X, ORBIT CULTURE continue to forge a sound that is unmistakably their own.

ORBIT CULTURE are the sound of modern metal at its most powerful and forward-thinking.
