Saint Agnes Unleash “The Ghost” Video

London’s Saint Agnes drag you onto the dancefloor with new single “The Ghost,” a blood-rush of punk-industrial beats and midnight euphoria. It’s the fourth glimpse into their forthcoming album, Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin, and their most immediate collision of vulnerability and physicality yet.

Watch the video here.

Frontperson Kitty A. Austen explains, “I wrote this song about often feeling like I disappear, I become invisible in certain settings, certain situations. Words fail me and I merge into the background. I envisioned dancing surrounded by people but feeling completely on my own. It’s the soundtrack to a hot, sweaty night in a vampire nightclub, the blood rave just before dawn. Euphoria washes over the bodies as the dark driving beats pulsate through the club. We’ve turned my sadness into a banger and now I can dance to it.”

It’s a track that turns isolation into movement, a solitary experience reframed as something communal and physical.

Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin is due for release on May 29 via Spinefarm.

Kitty’s voice, vision and volatility shape every inch of the band’s evolving world. At its core is her creative partnership with Jon James Tufnell, a relationship defined by tension, trust, and a shared commitment to building something immersive and all-consuming.

Drawing from the intensity of Nine Inch Nails, the genre-bending chaos of Poppy and the euphoric, cinematic storytelling of Lorde, Saint Agnes make music for bodies in motion, where confessional lyrics, raw guitar and pulsing beats collide in something both confrontational and rapturous.

Self-confessed “control freaks,” the band obsessively curate every aspect of their work. This time, they pushed further, bringing in mixer Jim Pinder (Sleep Token, Bring Me The Horizon) to sharpen the impact of their production without compromising their vision. The result is their most direct and fully realized record to date.

Having recently played shows with Last Train (in France), Ghostkid (in Germany), Vukovi (in the UK) and a well-received performance at SXSW (in the US) Saint Agnes are now out on the UK road again, with INME.
