Annisokay, known for their blend of metalcore and post-hardcore, have dropped a new single titled “Get Your Shit Together,” along with an equally gripping music video. Watch it here:
ANNISOKAY – Get Your Sh!t Together (OFFICIAL VIDEO)
Annisokay #ArisingEmpire ANNISOKAY’s new single ‘Get Your Sh!t Together ‘!
The track is a raw expression of frustration with the current state of the world, combining heavy riffs and powerful vocals to deliver a message that resonates with the chaos of our times.
“The video for ‘Get Your Shit Together’ starts off like a classic bank robbery. Armed with guns and modern gear, and with Rudi as our hacker in the van, we’ve planned the perfect job. But what if we’re after something much bigger than cash? There are secrets guarded more closely than any fortune in the world — secrets that were never meant to see the light of day. What if we manage to uncover them? We don’t want money; we want answers!”
The song captures the overwhelming emotions many feel today, encapsulated perfectly in the band’s inspiration:
“Do you also feel like the whole world is spiraling out of control? It seems like the most powerful and influential people have lost their minds, pushing us closer and closer to the edge. But it’s not just them — everyday people who talk nonsense and make life difficult make you want to shout ‘Get your shit together!'”
“‘Get Your Shit Together” will be available at midnight on all major streaming platforms here.
In 2022, the band released the special edition of their highly successful and critically acclaimed album Aurora, which entered the official German album charts on #18, being their highest chart entry to date.
Aurora (Special Edition) is still available as CD and colored vinyl option, holding three absolute classics remastered, “Coma Blue,” “Good Stories,” their Japan bonus track “Parallel Universe” that has never been released worldwide, together with a full live set, in the actual and fresh line up with new frontman Rudi Schwarzer.
Stream, purchase Aurora (Special Edition) as CD or vinyl here.
Annisokay’s unique sound pushes the boundaries of the metal genre, incorporating elements of pop, progressive metal, and electronic dance music (EDM) to create a distinct and unforgettable experience. The band’s clean singer, Christoph Wieczorek, possesses a truly exceptional voice that conveys powerful emotions and has become a signature feature of their music. With a penchant for exploring dark moods and themes, Annisokay’s lyrics tackle social issues, human emotions, and the complexities of relationships.
Following the success of Aurora, Annisokay embarked on the highly successful Aurora Tour in 2022, a European headline tour that included many sold-out shows and further showcased the band’s magnetic stage presence. In 2023, the band welcomed the talented and dedicated Peter Leukhardt as their new bassist. Annisokay’s dedication to evolution and experimentation sets them apart in the modern rock/metal landscape. As they continue to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories, the band remains committed to delivering powerful, emotionally resonant music that leaves a lasting impact on listeners worldwide.
