Following the remarkable global triumph of their latest album The Black, released on April 12, 2024, Imminence has firmly established themselves as one of the most rapidly rising and in-demand acts in modern alternative music. The band’s explosive success has been further cemented by their first-ever full U.S. headline tour, which saw the majority of dates sell out, a completely sold-out European headline tour in October, and their first Australian headline shows selling out in record time — marking an extraordinary 2024 for Imminence.

Kicking off 2025 with an almost entirely sold-out Scandinavian headline tour, the band now sets the stage for the release of The Return of The Black — an extended edition of their latest album. Leading the charge is the hard-hitting single and music video “God Fearing Man,” setting the tone for Imminence’s relentless momentum into the new year.

Despite the busiest year in their career, Imminence show no signs of slowing down. The new chapter of 2025 began with the unyielding release of their heaviest and most extreme composition to date, “Death Shall Have No Dominion“— a track that plunges listeners into deeper, darker territories before lifting them back up with the powerful new focus track “God Fearing Man.” Fusing their signature orchestral string arrangements, led by vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg, with a crushing instrumental foundation, Imminence continues to refine their distinctive sound — one that fans have aptly dubbed “violincore.”

Beyond these new singles, The Return of The Black expands on the album’s legacy with re-mastered versions featuring a stellar lineup of guest musicians, including Lucas Woodland (Holding Absence), Niklas Karlsson (Orbit Culture)Joel Holmqvist (Aviana), Scott Kennedy (Bleed From Within), and Tim Charles (Ne Obliviscaris). The extended edition also boasts two brand-new remixes by producer and longtime collaborator VAAAL, alongside an exclusive cover of “The Black” by Jiluka — set to open for Imminence during their highly anticipated North American tour this spring. Closing the album is the hauntingly beautiful instrumental track “La Douleur Qui Est Sans Fin,” marking the final chapter of The Black.

Recently, Imminence celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album I with a special re-release featuring newly recorded vocals and a fresh mix and master. The Reclamation of I has been met with overwhelming acclaim, underscoring the band’s decade-long journey that has amassed over 1,000,000 followers across platforms, more than 400,000,000 streams, and a streak of sold-out shows worldwide. Now, Imminence is ready to take the next step—announcing their first-ever European arena headline shows. This groundbreaking production, “The Black Finale,” will showcase the band in an entirely new light across five handpicked cities in December 2025.

With the imminent release of the extended edition, “The Return of The Black Tour: North America 2025” is set to kick off, followed by a packed summer festival season and additional live performances on new continents, soon to be revealed. The era of The Black is far from over, and Imminence is poised to make 2025 their most monumental year yet.
