With the remarkable global success of the latest album The Black, released on April 12, Imminence have recently proven themselves to be one of the fastest growing acts in the modern alternative music scene. The astonishing results from the band’s first full U.S. headline tour, resulting in a majority of sold out dates, a 100% sold out European headline tour in October this year, and the first-ever Australian headline shows completely sold out, mark the end of an outstanding 2024 for Imminence.

Even after the busiest year in the band’s career, Imminence show no signs of slowing down.

2025 starts with the merciless release of the heaviest and most extreme track ever been composed by this Swedish armada.

If the last album was a journey through the deepest realms of The Black itself, the new single “Death Shall Have No Dominion” takes us right down to the bottom of the unforgiving, vicious, and ferocious void that is The Black. Seamlessly combining the unmistakable trademark string arrangements and lead violin melodies, performed by singer Eddie Berg, with an instrumental foundation that pays tribute to Scandinavian death and black metal, Imminence delivers a perfectly unique sound that the fans have chosen to name “violincore.”

“Just when you might have thought that you knew what to expect, we turn around and give you a new single. And not any kind of single. I honestly don’t think there has ever been a more extreme track coming from this band. We want to show you that The Black goes deeper and darker than you could ever imagine, and we intend to take you there with us,” says guitarist Harald Barrett.

Imminence recently celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their debut album I, with a re-release featuring newly recorded vocals and new mix and master. The Reclamation of I has been nothing short of success and with a million total combined online followers, 400,000,000 streams, and sold-out shows all over the world, Imminence highlight the journey taken over the past decade by the announcement of their first European arena headline shows. The brand new show concept “The Black Finale” will present the band like never before and take place in five carefully selected cities in December 2025. Directly following the release of “Death Shall Have No Dominion” comes “The Black Tour: Scandinavia 2025,” followed by “The Return of The Black Tour: North America 2025,” both tours with already high demand on tickets in all territories.
