NOVELISTS RELEASE NEW SINGLE “RAVAGE”  WATCH LISTEN

TOUR WITH BILMURI KICKS OFF TONIGHT

Just days after Rock en Seine — one of France’s leading music festivals which lineup included Deftones, The Cure, and Tyler and the Creator — and ahead of their North American tour with Bilmuri, Novelists release “RAVAGE,” a new single accompanied by a largely self-produced music video. The release marks the beginning of a busy stretch for the Parisian five-piece, leading up to their headline show at the Olympia on April 23, 2027.

Since the release of their acclaimed album CODA in May 2025, Novelists have come a long way. Still releasing through their own label, ACKOR Music, the band continues to refine an increasingly distinctive identity without sacrificing their creativity, underpinned by some of the most accomplished vocal and instrumental performances in their scene. With a frontwoman equally at home in metal and pop, Novelists continue to break the mold. Their visual identity now matches the ambition of a band shaped by extensive touring around the world, as demonstrated by their new video directed by Bastien Sablé, whose credits include work with Aya Nakamura , “RAVAGE” is the latest expression of that artistic vision.

“‘RAVAGE’ was never meant to play it safe,” the band says. “We kept pushing the track further: Heavier, more melodic, wilder… until a baroque cello somehow felt like the most natural thing in the world. The video came from exactly the same impulse. We had the budget to make life easier and hand the project over to a big production company, but we chose to produce most of it ourselves, to make that budget go as far as possible, and achieve the most ambitious result we could. There’s something very Novelists about doing everything ourselves, even when it makes our lives unnecessarily complicated, simply because we’re obsessed with bringing what’s in our heads to life exactly as we imagine it.”

The release kicks off a packed schedule for a band who has not slowed down over the past 18 months: Hellfest, Francofolies, Graspop, Download UK, Resurrection Fest, tours across the United States, Europe and China, and a La Cigale show that sold out weeks in advance. Next up: tTeir imminent North American tour with Bilmuri, followed by a European run with The Devil Wears Prada this autumn, before their biggest-ever Paris headline show in 2027.
