Billikens Men’s Soccer Host Seton Hall Saturday Night

Saint Louis men’s soccer plays host to Seton Hall on Saturday night at Robert R. Hermann Stadium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
The Billikens enter Saturday’s matchup 1-0-1. They tied South Florida 0-0 in the season opener and defeated then-No. 5 SMU 1-0.
Seton Hall also comes into Saturday’s game with a 1-0-1 record. The Pirates are coming off a 2-2 draw against Rutgers. They defeated Lafayette 2-0 in the season opener. This will be the first road game of the season for Seton Hall.
Saturday’s match will be streamed on ESPN+. Dan Bettlach will call the action.

1 // Sophomore forward Andrew Heckenlaible was named the Atlantic 10 Conference’s co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. He scored the Bills’ first-half goal in a 1-0 win over SMU last weekend. It was Heckenlaible’s first-career goal.
2 // The Billikens are ranked No. 18 in this week’s Top Drawer Soccer Top 25. They are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches and College Soccer News national polls.
3 // Saint Louis is on a 26-game unbeaten streak in regular-season games at Robert R. Hermann Stadium.
4 // The Billikens have recorded back-to-back shutouts to start the season for the first time since 2015. The last time SLU opened the season with three-straight shutouts was in 1999.
5 // This will be the first matchup between Saint Louis and Seton Hall.
UP NEXT
The Billikens play their first road game of the season on Wednesday, Sept. 3, when they head to Bloomington to face No. 7 Indiana. The Hoosiers are 2-0-1 entering their matchup Sunday night against No. 14 Oregon State.
