JOPLIN, Mo. — The Joplin Jailbirds sign freshman Daniel Scott, a right-handed pitcher from Mississippi Valley State University to play for the Jailbirds for the 2026 summer season.
Scott is competing in his first season with the MVS Devils. Scott is building his 3.38 ERA during his spring season, with three strikeouts in one game this season.
“We are excited to have Danny join us this summer as he will be an anchor in our pitching staff, “ says Jailbirds Field Manager, Octavio Sanchez. “His (Scott) coaches have said great things and we are excited to have him here in Joplin.”
