JOPLIN, Mo. – The Joplin Jailbirds have been slated to play at Wendell Redden Stadium in the Joplin Sports Complex since the community naming contest started in December 2025. Effective June 1, the Joplin Jailbirds are being granted space to play all 2026 home games at the historic Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, Mo. This includes the June 2 Home Opener for the Joplin Jailbirds to be played at Joe Becker Stadium.
“We recognize the history that has been built here, and we do not take this opportunity lightly, “ shared Joplin Jailbirds co-owner and managing partner, David Schmoll. “The Jailbirds are committed to honoring the legacy of this ballpark while building something the community can continue to be proud of for years to come. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring baseball to Joe Becker this summer and look forward to creating new memories, investing in the fan experience, and representing the city of Joplin.”
“Growing up watching MINK League baseball in Joe Becker and now working with the MINK League back in Joe Becker feels like a full circle moment for me,” says Jailbirds GM, Donovan Harns. “I am beyond blessed to share this summer with our team on the very field where I grew up watching baseball.”
The Joplin Jailbirds will play their 19 home games at Joe Becker Stadium. This is a game by game agreement with the leaseholder of Joe Becker Stadium. The Joplin Jailbirds season home opener in Joplin on Tuesday, June 2nd. Tickets are $3 before game day, $10 on game day.
