JOPLIN, Mo. — Cohen Epler, freshman at Kansas City Kansas Community College, has signed to throw as pitcher for the Joplin Jailbirds in the 2026 season.
Cohen Epler is currently competing at Kansas City Kansas Community College bringing in a 2.500 batting against average and 2.57 ERA. Epler might be a familiar name to the Webb City area. Epler captured a district title his senior year as pitcher for Webb City, playing with fellow signed Jailbird, Drew Vonder Haar.
“We are excited to have Cohen join the Jailbirds. We are all about community and having another local arm is huge for growing organization,” says Donovan Harns, Jailbirds GM.
