Money in the Bank 2025 Predictions

The event that can change wrestling careers is upon us! Money in the Bank takes place Saturday in Los Angeles. For me, Money in the Bank is my favorite premium event. There is some bias, as my first premium event was Money in the Bank in 2017. As always, Money in the Bank should provide a good show and will set the tone for the remainder of the summer.

Money in the Bank 2025 Predictions

Women’s Money in the Bank: Rhea Ripley vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia vs. Stephanie Vaquer

This match has a potent mix of veterans and fresh, new faces. Any of these women could have a case to be Ms. Money in the Bank. However, Giulia and Vaquer are relatively new to the brand, so it is too early to give either of them the briefcase.

This leaves Ripley, Bliss, Naomi, and Roxanne. I could see Roxanne winning if the WWE were to replicate last year’s strategy with Tiffany Stratton, which involves taking a young wrestler and giving them a significant early boost with the briefcase. Bliss has gone for a few years, and the briefcase could help her return to the title picture. Ripley and Naomi each do not need the briefcase to enter the title picture, but having it certainly would not hurt. It is between Ripley and Naomi.

While Ripley seems to be the favorite to win, Naomi is the better choice. She has been a great heel, and becoming Ms. Money in the Bank will elevate this side of her character to the next level. Furthermore, this sets up the possibility of a triple-threat match for the title between Naomi, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair.

Naomi becomes Ms. Money in the Bank.

Intercontinental Championship: Lyra Valkyria (Champion) vs. Becky Lynch

My reasoning for choosing the winner is simple. Lyra beat Becky for the NXT Championship a few years ago. Now, it is Becky’s turn to even the score. The question that remains is whether Lyra will raise Becky’s hand after Becky wins the title.

I don’t think she will get the chance. My bold prediction for Money in the Bank is that Bayley will make her return, having been injured by Becky before WrestleMania. She and Becky will brawl, setting up the two to have a match at Evolution.

As far as the third installment of Lyra vs. Becky, that will take place at Summerslam, where Lyra will regain the title.

Becky beats Lyra via pinfall to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Seth Rollins vs. Solo Sikoa vs. LA Knight vs. Andrade vs. Penta vs. El Grande Americano

The Money in the Bank briefcase can elevate a career. Sikoa, Knight, Andrade, Penta, and El Grande Americano could also use a boost, as none have won a world championship in the WWE.

Yet, all signs point to Rollins. He has the backup in Bron Breaker and Bronson Reed to help him win. He is the main villain in the WWE now. Does he need to become Mr. Money in the Bank to be in the title picture? No, but Rollins as Mr. Money in the Bank does open additional storyline opportunities.

Rollins becomes Mr. Money in the Bank.

John Cena & Logan Paul vs. Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes

The biggest question about the entire match is whether or not Mr. Money in the Bank attempts to cash in on either Cena or Jey. I am not a fan of same-night cash-ins, as I prefer the build-up and suspense that come with a long Money in the Bank reign. As it stands, Mr. Money in the Bank will not cash in on Saturday. I think WWE will want the cash-in to happen on Monday Night Raw on Netflix to boost viewership.

Regarding this match, it could go either way. I do not think either Cena or Cody will take the pin. I know Jey is the WWE Heavyweight Champion, and it may hurt his credibility as champion. Still, him taking the pin is better than Cody taking it.

No WWE fan wants to hear this, but Travis Scott makes an appearance during this match. He will attack Cody, leading Cena to hit Jey with an “Attitude Adjustment” to win the match.

As Cena, Paul, and Scott celebrate in the ring, Gunther comes out and attacks Jey. Cody, along with Sami Zayn and C.M. Punk, fight off Gunther. However, Cena, Paul, and Scott attack Punk, setting up a match between Cena and Punk at Night of Champions or SummerSlam. However, the final words are spoken by Paul Heyman, who comes out and reminds the wrestlers that regardless of who the champion is, Seth “Freaking” Rollins is on the hunt for gold.
