The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, announced the signing of right-handed outfielder Baden Hackworth for the 2025 summer season. Hackworth comes to O’Fallon as a redshirt freshman from St. Louis University (SLU).
The 6-foot-0, 185-pound outfielder is returning to the Hoots after playing in 37 games for the 2024 season where he recorded .351 BA, .455 OBP, and .519 SLG. Before his time with the Hoots Hackworth played nine games for 2023 St. Louis Gamers in the CarShield Collegiate League (CCL), recording a .250 BA, .455 OBP, and .458 SLG in 24 at-bats. Hackworth attended Jackson High School, where, in his senior season, he both set the team’s single-season RBI record (37), launched eight home runs, and had 51 runs batted in, ultimately helping the Indians reach their first final four in program history. The Jackson, Missouri-native was selected to the 2023 Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBCA) Class 6 All State Team, being named first team as a catcher. He will compete for an everyday outfielder spot with Jefferson College this spring.
