BABYMETAL brought their electrifying North American 2025 Tour to the Saint Louis Music Park in Maryland Heights, MO, delivering a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. The Japanese kawaii metal trio—Su-metal, Moametal, and Momometal—ignited the stage with their signature blend of J-pop melodies and blistering heavy metal, supported by the stellar Kami Band.
The night kicked off with high-energy sets from openers Bloodywood at 7:00 PM and Jinjer at 8:00 PM, setting a fiery tone for the evening. BABYMETAL took the stage around 9:15 PM, launching into a setlist that balanced fan favorites like “Gimme Chocolate!!” and “PA PA YA!!” with heavier tracks like “BxMxC” and their latest single “METALI!.”
The stage production was a visual feast, with synchronized choreography, vibrant lighting, and a seamless fusion of cute and fierce aesthetics. Su-metal’s commanding vocals and the intricate dance moves of Moametal and Momometal kept the audience captivated, while the Kami Band’s blistering solos added raw metal intensity. Fans raved about the smooth logistics—easy entry, friendly staff, and even free cold water, a welcome touch on a warm St. Louis night.
Despite some wishing for a longer set, the energy never waned, and the crowd’s enthusiasm peaked during the encore with “Road of Resistance.” BABYMETAL’s ability to unite metalheads and J-pop fans alike made this a standout concert. If you’re looking for a show that’s equal parts adorable and ferocious, BABYMETAL is a must-see triumph.
