Dirty Honey Drips, The Struts Shine: St. Louis Gets Rock and Roll’s Double Dose

The Factory in Chesterfield was packed wall-to-wall for Dirty Honey and The Struts, with the balcony closed and the entire venue converted to general admission. The setup created a raw energy on the floor, the kind that makes every shout, every guitar riff, and every light cue feel magnified.

Dirty Honey opened the night, but they carried themselves with headliner confidence. Their gritty, blues-soaked sound filled the room, and Marc LaBelle’s vocals cut through with the kind of swagger you expect from a band on the rise. The highlight of their set came when LaBelle climbed into the crowd and was held aloft by fans, singing an entire song while surfing the sea of hands. It was one of those classic live-show moments that blurred the line between performer and audience and sent the energy in the room into overdrive. Musically and stylistically, they brought a vibe that felt like Guns N’ Roses in their early days—dangerous, exciting, and impossible to ignore.

Adding to their charm, Dirty Honey stuck around after their set for a casual meet and greet, taking selfies, signing autographs, and chatting with fans. That accessibility made the connection even stronger—proof that they’re a band that not only rocks hard but also knows how to build a loyal following one handshake and smile at a time.

When The Struts took the stage, the atmosphere shifted from grit to glam. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album Everybody Wants, they ran through the record front to back with the kind of showmanship and stamina that defines them. For two straight hours, Luke Spiller commanded the stage with flamboyant precision, strutting, twirling, and pulling the crowd into every moment while the band kept the energy high. The encore only pushed things further, leaving the audience buzzing and breathless.
