The Boston Red Sox announced their 2026 Hall of Fame class on January 10, 2026, during Fenway Fest at Fenway Park. The player inductees are three beloved World Series champions: outfielder Johnny Damon, starter Jon Lester, and reliever Mike Timlin. Non-uniformed honoree Sherm Feller (longtime Fenway PA announcer) was also named, with Bill Mueller’s 2004 game-winning homer honored as the “Memorable Red Sox Moment.”

The trio helped end Boston’s long championship drought and delivered titles in 2004 and 2007 (Lester also contributed to 2013).

Damon played four seasons (2002–05) with the Red Sox, hitting .295 with an .803 OPS in 597 games. A two-time All-Star, he was the leadoff catalyst and delivered an iconic Game 7 performance in the 2004 ALCS against the Yankees: two home runs (including a grand slam) and six RBIs in Boston’s pennant-clinching win. His 27 postseason games in center field rank second in club history.

Drafted by Boston in 2002, Lester spent nine seasons (2006–14) with the team, amassing 110 wins (ninth all-time) and a franchise-record 1,386 strikeouts by a left-hander. A three-time All-Star, he overcame lymphoma as a rookie to help win the 2007 title and starred in the 2013 championship. His postseason ERA with Boston: 2.11 in 13 games, including three World Series starts (all wins).

Timlin provided veteran reliability from 2003–08, appearing in 394 games and holding the club record for postseason appearances (28). He anchored the pen during the 2004 and 2007 championships, earning trust in high-leverage spots. His entrance music, “Black Betty,” became a Fenway classic.

The induction ceremony will take place this spring.
