Country music icon Garth Brooks has officially unveiled the Blame It All On My Roots Tour, a highly anticipated arena outing set to recapture the energy and spectacle of his groundbreaking 1990s runs. The announcement, made on July 7, 2026, comes fresh off Brooks’ record-setting, sold-out performance at London’s Hyde Park and signals a full-scale return to the venues that helped cement his status as one of the genre’s all-time greats.

The tour launches with back-to-back nights at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, 2026. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon, as this initial reveal focuses on kicking off the “retro arena era” run.

Billed as a throwback to the high-production arena shows that defined Brooks’ earlier tours, the production promises in-the-round seating, the return of his iconic drum pod, and the innovative staging that revolutionized live country music.

According to Brooks’ official site, the tour will serve as the foundation for Killer Live, a groundbreaking new approach to capturing live recordings in real time, continuing his legacy of preserving historic performances for fans.

Tickets for the Indianapolis shows go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT), with all tickets available simultaneously and no pre-sales or advance box office options. An eight-ticket limit per purchase applies. Fans can purchase via Ticketmaster.

The tour’s title, Blame It All On My Roots, nods to Brooks’ deep appreciation for the musical foundations that shaped his career. Thirty years after launching what became one of the largest concert tours in history, this run invites longtime fans and new audiences alike to experience the performer at the peak of his arena prowess.

As more stops are announced, the Blame It All On My Roots Tour is shaping up to be a major highlight of the 2026 concert season.

With a career spanning decades, Brooks remains one of the best-selling artists of all time, known for his dynamic live shows, heartfelt songwriting, and unwavering connection with audiences. His ability to blend traditional country with rock-infused energy has earned him a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame and a global fanbase that continues to grow.

The Blame It All On My Roots Tour is poised to deliver exactly what fans have been craving: powerful performances of classics alongside the passion that has defined Brooks’ live reputation. As additional dates roll out, excitement continues to build across the country music community.
