Saint Louis Music Park in Maryland Heights, Missouri, will host a compelling night of heartfelt rock and indie anthems this Saturday, July 11, 2026, as The Fray headlines the Summer of Light Tour. Joining the Denver-based veterans are special guests Dashboard Confessional and Colony House. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM.

The Fray, known for their emotionally resonant alt-rock sound and massive commercial success, are in the midst of a strong resurgence. Their breakthrough 2005 album How to Save a Life remains a cultural touchstone, recently achieving additional platinum certifications, with hits like “Over My Head (Cable Car),” “You Found Me,” and the title track continuing to connect with new generations.

Following the departure of original frontman Isaac Slade in 2022, the band—now a trio featuring Joe King on lead vocals and guitar, Dave Welsh on guitar, and Ben Wysocki on drums—reunited with fresh energy. They released the EP The Fray Is Back in 2024 and celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut with a major tour in 2025. This year marks a pivotal moment with the release of A Light That Waits in March 2026, their first full-length album in over a decade. Co-written by the current lineup, the record delivers their signature melodic richness and introspective lyrics, exploring themes of hope, resilience, and renewal.

Opening for The Fray is Dashboard Confessional, the influential project led by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba. Emerging from the early 2000s emo scene, the band built a devoted following with deeply personal, confessional lyrics and passionate acoustic-driven rock. Albums like The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most (2001) and A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar (2003) defined a generation, while later works such as All the Truth That I Can Tell (2022) showcase Carrabba’s enduring songwriting prowess.

Rounding out the bill is Colony House, the Franklin, Tennessee-based indie rock outfit. Formed by brothers Caleb (vocals/guitar) and Will Chapman (drums), along with guitarist Scott Mills and bassist Parke Cottrell, the band crafts bright, anthemic rock with surfy undertones and uplifting melodies. Influenced by ’90s alt-rock and drawing from their rich musical heritage (as sons of CCM artist Steven Curtis Chapman), Colony House delivers energetic, heartfelt sets that emphasize community and joy.

This triple bill offers a dynamic mix of eras and styles—piano-tinged anthems from The Fray, emo introspection from Dashboard Confessional, and buoyant indie rock from Colony House—all in the scenic, fan-friendly setting of Saint Louis Music Park. It’s a rare opportunity to experience these acts together in the St. Louis area during prime summer concert season.

Tickets are available now via Ticketmaster and other platforms. Don’t miss this celebration of light, emotion, and live music. For more details and updates, check the official venue or artist sites. See you under the lights in Maryland Heights!
