Kwamain Mitchell Named League MVP

Former Billiken Kwamain Mitchell was named the Most Valuable Player of the Mattoni NBL in the Czech Republic.

Playing for Usti nad Labem, Mitchell scored 22.6 points per game and averaged 5.7 assists and 2.8 steals per game. You can read more about Mitchell’s first professional season, and the MVP award, here.

Mitchell played four years for the Billikens and guided the squad to NCAA Tournaments in 2012 and 2013. He scored 1,575 career points, which is seventh all-time at SLU. Mitchell is fourth on the SLU career list in assists (420) and fourth in steals (172).
