St. Louis Blues General Manager Alexander Steen announced tonight that the club has assigned forward Dylan Peterson to its American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.
Peterson, 24, appeared in three games with the Blues during his most recent recall, recording five penalty minutes. The assignment returns the Roseville, California, native to Springfield, where he has already played three games this season and accumulated 19 penalty minutes.
Across his AHL career, Peterson has produced 47 points (25 goals, 22 assists) and 186 penalty minutes in 115 regular-season games. Selected by the Blues in the third round (86th overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot-4 winger has developed as a physical, energy-line presence within the organization.
