Pop star Meghan Trainor has abruptly canceled her entire Get In Girl Tour, which was scheduled to launch in June 2026 in support of her forthcoming seventh studio album, Toy With Me. The singer announced the decision on April 16, 2026, via Instagram Stories, citing the overwhelming demands of balancing a new album release, tour preparations, and life with her growing family.

“After a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel The Get In Girl Tour,” Trainor wrote. “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour, and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now, and I need to be home and present for each and all of them at this time. This is the right decision for my family and me right now.”

She continued with an apology to fans: “I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans, and I am so sorry to let you down… I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”

The Get In Girl Tour—produced by Live Nation and featuring special guests Icona Pop and Ryan Trainor—was set to kick off on June 12, 2026, at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, and run through August 15, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. It included more than 30 arena and amphitheater dates across North America, with stops in major cities like New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Philadelphia.

Toy With Me, Trainor’s seventh studio album on Epic Records, is slated for release on April 24, 2026. It follows recent singles including the tour’s namesake “Get in Girl,” “Still Don’t Care,” and “Shimmer.” Trainor had teased the tour as a high-energy celebration of female empowerment and family-friendly fun, but the demands proved too much amid her personal life.

Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, welcomed their third child, daughter Mikey Moon, via surrogate on January 18, 2026. The couple are already parents to sons Riley, 5, and Barry, 2. In previous interviews, Trainor described the new addition as making her heart feel “fuller than I ever knew it could.”

Ticketmaster has updated all listed dates to “Cancelled,” and promoters have indicated that refunds will be issued to ticketholders as funds are received from the event organizer. Fans who purchased tickets are advised to check their purchase confirmation emails or Ticketmaster accounts for updates.

The news comes as a surprise to many, given Trainor’s recent momentum with new music and her history of energetic live performances. While some online speculation has pointed to lower-than-expected ticket sales, Trainor’s public statement emphasizes family priorities over any other factors.

Trainor, 32, rose to fame with her 2014 breakout hit “All About That Bass” and has since built a career blending retro-pop, doo-wop influences, and body-positive anthems. She has canceled tours before—most notably in 2015 due to vocal cord issues—but this marks her first major pullout tied explicitly to motherhood and work-life balance.

In her message, the singer expressed optimism about the future: she plans to focus on her family in the coming months while promoting Toy With Me and looks forward to returning to the stage when the timing feels right.
