Former Missouri starting quarterback Beau Pribula has committed to the Virginia Cavaliers for the 2026 season. The dual-threat QB signed a revenue-sharing deal after visiting Charlottesville.
Pribula, who began his career at Penn State as a backup, transferred to Mizzou for 2025 and won the starting job. In 10 games (starting most), he completed 67.4% of passes for 1,941 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions, while rushing for 297 yards and 6 scores.
He entered the transfer portal in December 2025 and skipped Missouri’s Gator Bowl—ironically, a 13-7 win for Virginia over the Tigers.
The Cavaliers, fresh off an 11-3 season and ACC title game appearance under Tony Elliott, needed QB experience after starter Chandler Morris was denied a seventh year and backup Danny Kaelin left for Nebraska. Pribula, with one year of eligibility left, provides a proven Power 4 starter.
He drew interest from schools like Tennessee, Washington, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech before choosing UVA.
