GWAR Unleashes “Gor Gor Strikes Back” Tour: Spring 2026 Rampage with Soulfly and King Parrot

Intergalactic shock rock overlords GWAR have just declared war on boredom with the announcement of their massive spring 2026 U.S. tour, dubbed “The Gor Gor Strikes Back.” Joining the Scumdogs of the Universe as direct support will be tribal groove metal warriors Soulfly, led by the indefatigable Max Cavalera, while Australian grindcore maniacs King Parrot kick off the nightly mayhem.

The tour promises an unholy trinity of extreme metal spectacle, blending GWAR’s infamous theatrical carnage—complete with fake blood, decapitations, and monstrous costumes—with Soulfly’s relentless riff assault and King Parrot’s chaotic energy. As GWAR’s berserker vocalist Blöthar the Berserker proclaimed: “GWAR, SOULFLY and KING PARROT. This tour will be a ritual orgy of death, sex, violence and rock and fu**ing roll!! Let the severed heads rain, bouncing down the pyramid onto a heap of human skulls. Be there humans, or be left to suffer on this planet while we party in the stars!”

Max Cavalera echoed the excitement, stating: “I can’t wait for Soulfly to storm the gates with Gwar!! I’m excited to be part of one of the coolest tours of 2026! Soulfly bringing the Chama tribal energy and Gwar, the ultimate theatrical madness band!”

This run follows GWAR’s recent support of their latest release, The Return of Gor Gor, a multimedia onslaught featuring new tracks and live recordings. The band continues their saga of reclaiming their savage pet dinosaur Gor Gor, delivering what they promise will be their “most crushing live spectacle yet.”

The carnage begins on March 19 in GWAR’s adopted hometown of Richmond, Virginia, and concludes on April 29 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
