Brad Balog, the current director of the LHS marching band and the Rockwood School District’s Teacher of the Year, has a special connection to this event. Years ago, he was a student under Dr. Knost’s guidance when Knost was band director at LHS. This performance is not only a musical celebration but also a heartwarming reunion, showcasing the lasting impact of mentorship and music education.
