The Billiken baseball team fell to in-state rival Southeast Missouri State 1-13. Freshman Connor Lehmann (1-2) was hit with the loss. Saint Louis falls to 15-9 overall.

In the game, senior first basemen Mike Vigliarolo hit his 51st career double. He is now in a four-way tie for second all-time at Saint Louis.

The Redhawks scored eight runs in the second inning, jumping out to an early lead.

Saint Louis scored a run of their own in the top of the third on an RBI single from Vigliarolo. SEMO responded with four runs in the bottom of the frame.

Southeast scored an insurance run in the fourth, drawing the score to 13-1, where it stayed.

The game signaled the end of Braxton Martinez’s 14-game hitting streak as well as Josh Bunselmeyer’s 17-game on-base streak.

Next up for SLU is a three-game series against conference newcomer Davidson in Davidson, N.C. on March 27-29. First pitch on Friday the 27th is set for 6 p.m. (CT).
