Smoky Mountain Fan Fest has spent seven years building something worth showing up for. This year’s show runs May 29–31 at the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center in Kingsport, TN, and the guest list alone makes a strong case for marking your calendar.
SMFF runs smaller and more intimate than the big circuit shows, set against the kind of Eastern Tennessee scenery that makes the weekend feel like more than just a convention. The guest list, though, doesn’t reflect the size. It never really has.
The Lineup
Mario Lopez, Kevin Durand, Vicki Lawrence, Amy Jo Johnson, Catherine Sutherland, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, Holly Marie Combs, Randy Havens, Tyler Mane, Aaron Stanford, Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, Debbie Dunning, Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Leigh Cook, Paulo Costanzo, Vincent Marella, Alyson Stoner, Beverly Mitchell, David Gallagher, Mackenzie Rosman, Henry Thomas, Dee Wallace, Matthew DeMeritt, Lou Diamond Phillips, Missi Pyle, Sarah Wayne Callies, Christian Serratos, Michael Cudlitz, Tom Payne, Lew Temple, Jon Daly, Eddie Deezen, Mike Lobel, Shane Kippel, Ming Chen, Nicky Jones, Billy Martinez, Quinton Flynn. Lineup is subject to change.
That’s Home Improvement, Beverly Hills, 90210, 7th Heaven, The Walking Dead, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Degrassi, Stranger Things and a lot more represented across three days and 40-plus guests.
What to Expect
Panels, autograph sessions, photo ops, and a vendor floor with collectibles will be located all inside the Meadowview property, which keeps things navigable in a way that bigger shows can’t always claim. Zachary Gordon is also headlining a live concert as a standalone event alongside his convention appearance with support from Oliver Steele.
Your ticket gets you through the door and onto the floor, but come prepared. Autographs and selfies at guest tables are often cash only. Professional photo ops are a separate purchase and can be booked in advance.
