The legendary bad boys of hair metal, Mötley Crüe, have announced the resurrection of their iconic Carnival of Sins Tour for 2026. This time, they’re bringing along two powerhouse acts from the golden era of hard rock: Tesla and Extreme. The tour promises to be a full-throttle celebration of ’80s and ’90s excess, complete with pyrotechnics, circus-themed theatrics, and a setlist packed with timeless anthems.
Originally launched in 2005 as part of the band’s explosive reunion, the Carnival of Sins Tour was one of Mötley Crüe’s most visually spectacular productions – featuring dwarves, fire-breathers, aerialists, and Tommy Lee’s infamous rollercoaster drum solo. Fans who missed it the first time (or want to relive the chaos) are in 2026 will get an updated version with modern production values while staying true to the original debauchery that made it legendary.
“Bringing back the spirit of Carnival of Sins has been a blast, and we wanted to take it even further for its 20th anniversary,” Motley Crue said in a statement. “This new show is for the Crueheads who’ve been with us through it all and for the new Crueheads who didn’t get to experience Carnival of Sins last time around. Get ready — we’re coming your way and we can’t wait to see you next summer.”
Joining the Crüe on this sinful carnival ride:
- Tesla, the Sacramento hard rockers known for hits like “Love Song,” “Signs,” and “Modern Day Cowboy,” bringing their blues-infused, no-frills rock energy.
- Extreme, the Boston funk-metal masters behind the acoustic smash “More Than Words” and riff-heavy bangers like “Get the Funk Out” and “Decadence Dance.” Guitar virtuoso Nuno Bettencourt is sure to deliver mind-bending solos that complement Mick Mars’ (or current guitarist John 5’s) style perfectly.
General onsale begins Friday, November 21 at 9 a.m. local time. VIP packages will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, November 19 at 9 a.m. local time. More information can be found at motley.com.
