Krispy Kreme has undergone its biggest menu overhaul in years, expanding its everyday lineup from 10 to a whopping 16 full-sized donuts. The beloved chain announced the addition of nine new flavors, blending fan-favorite requests, trending tastes, and proven limited-time hits that have earned permanent (or semi-permanent) spots.
This refresh, which the company tested for over a year, aims to give customers “more ways to dozen” – allowing for truly personalized boxes of treats. To celebrate, Krispy Kreme even teamed up with Grammy-winning artist Montell Jordan, who remixed his 1995 classic “This Is How We Do It” into a donut-themed anthem called “This Is How We Dozen” for their social media channels.
“We are so excited to introduce nine new flavors to our lineup so everyone can build a dozen that is as unique as they are,” said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s chief brand and product officer.
The Five New Permanent Additions
These join the iconic Original Glazed and other classics as everyday staples:
- New York Cheesecake: An unglazed donut filled with cheesecake-flavored Kreme, dipped in vanilla icing, and topped with graham cracker crunch for that authentic Big Apple dessert vibe.
- Oreo Cookies and Kreme: Packed with Oreo cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing, scattered with Oreo pieces, and finished with a vanilla icing drizzle – a cookie lover’s dream.
- Original Glazed Cake: A nostalgic old-fashioned cake donut coated in Krispy Kreme’s signature sweet glaze.
- Cinnamon Apple Filled: Filled with apple cinnamon goodness and rolled in a powdered cinnamon coating for cozy, fall-inspired warmth year-round.
- Original Glazed Kreme Filled: The classic Original Glazed donut, now elevated with a generous filling of light, fluffy Kreme.
The Four Seasonal Flavors (Starting Now)
Krispy Kreme is introducing a new seasonal rotation system, swapping out four limited-time donuts five times a year to keep things fresh. The inaugural lineup leans into autumn and comfort flavors:
- Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme: Filled with Biscoff cookie butter-flavored Kreme, dipped in cookie butter icing, topped with cookie pieces, and drizzled with vanilla icing.
- Maple Iced: A simple yet irresistible Original Glazed donut dipped in rich maple icing.
- Chocolate Fudge Brownie: Original Glazed base topped with brownie batter-flavored buttercreme, brownie crunch, and colorful rainbow sprinkles.
- Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Cake: A pumpkin spice cake donut drenched in the chain’s famous Original Glaze – perfect for PSL season.
All new donuts are available now at Krispy Kreme locations nationwide, in-shop, for pickup, or delivery via the app and website. You can grab them individually or mix-and-match in dozens.
Saying Goodbye (For Now) to Three Favorites
To make room for the expansion, Krispy Kreme has retired three permanent items from the core menu:
- Original Glazed Blueberry Cake
- Original Glazed Lemon Filled
- Cake Batter
