Born to Bertrand Maxi and Kim Maxi (Alexander) in Kansas City, Missouri, Isaiah was a proud alumnus of Fort Hays State University, where he played football and exemplified leadership both on and off the field. Described by the Fort Hays State University Football team as a “servant leader” and a “great teammate,” Isaiah’s warmth and generosity were evident in all he did.
Isaiah gained recognition in 2022 for his remarkable feat of hiking across Missouri, visiting 31 state parks and completing the Katy Trail from Kansas City to just north of St. Louis.
