Angel Reese Named Cover Athlete For NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition Cover

2K Games announced Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese as the cover athlete for the NBA 2K26 WNBA Edition, alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Standard Edition) and Carmelo Anthony (Superstar Edition). Reese, a WNBA All-Star known as “Chi-Town Barbie,” also unveiled her Reebok signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1, featured on the cover.

“Being on the NBA 2K26 cover is a statement about representation and boldness,” Reese said.

Despite some fan debate over Caitlin Clark’s exclusion, 2K praised Reese’s impact on and off the court.

The GameStop-exclusive WNBA Edition, releases September 5, 2025.
