Singer-songwriter Bre Kennedy returns with her latest single, “Baby Blue,” a vibrant ode to emotional authenticity wrapped in her signature blend of timeless storytelling and modern pop elegance. Accompanied by a visually stunning new music video—watch here—“Baby Blue” radiates with pure female joy and celebration, offering a refreshing lens on emotional empowerment.

“In a world that tells us to stay composed, sweet, and easy to swallow, I wrote this song about being honest and owning how I feel,” shares Bre. “It’s about the radical act of allowing ourselves to feel sadness and anger, especially in a world that constantly seems to break our hearts. As a woman who’s been told ‘sadness isn’t attractive,’ this is my response: If I’m going to be blue, then I’m gonna be blue, baby blue,” says Bre.

“Baby Blue” marks a bold new chapter for Bre, both musically and thematically. Co-written with Robyn Dell’Unto (Wild Rivers, Carly Pearce, GAYLE) and acclaimed artist Field Guide, the track reclaims sadness as something strong and expressive. The result is a liberating summer anthem that flips the script on emotional repression, celebrating vulnerability as a vibrant force.
