CARDINALS ANNOUNCE 2025 OPENING DAY ACTIVE ROSTER & INJURED LIST

The St. Louis Cardinals will begin their 134th season of play in the National League today when they host the Minnesota Twins at 3:15 p.m. CDT in the season opening game of the 162-game Major League Baseball regular season.

The team’s 26-player active roster includes one first-time Cardinal (Phil Maton) and 15 players who were developed within the Cardinals organization.

The following is the Cardinals 2025 Opening Day active roster and injured list:

PITCHERS (13): Erick Fedde-RHP, Ryan Fernandez-RHP, Sonny Gray-RHP, Ryan Helsley-RHP, John King-LHP, Kyle Leahy-RHP, Matthew Liberatore-LHP, Phil Maton-RHP, Steven Matz-LHP, Miles Mikolas-RHP, Andre Pallante-RHP, JoJo Romero-LHP and Chris Roycroft-RHP;

CATCHERS (2): Iván Herrera and Pedro Pagés;

INFIELDERS (7): Nolan Arenado, Luken Baker, Alec Burleson, Willson Contreras, Brendan Donovan, Nolan Gorman and Masyn Winn;

OUTFIELDERS (4): Lars Nootbaar, Victor Scott II, Michael Siani and Jordan Walker;

INJURED LIST (1): Zack Thompson-LHP.
