Originally a dark folk rock duo, Miss Queue have recently added a bassist to the lineup, contributing to the heavier sound the band now has, and leaning more rock/punk/metal. The trio performed at multiple venues in Florida throughout 2024.
“We are so excited to be part of Stamp Fest 2025 in Vero Beach that includes 19 awesome bands, homegrown in Florida. All of which have the courage and integrity to be original and speak out about current events going on in our world. On March 2nd, we head out of town to Cocoa Beach to play a Punk Rock Mini Fest Matinee at The Dunes through Stacy, of My Third Eye Productions. This will be one of the best Sundays ever spent, we have six bands, two food trucks, and nothing but original punk, folk, and ska!

“The loss of my husband, James, created a sensation in my body in which I literally became unzipped as a soul. He was the original percussionist and drummer who can be heard on our latest two albums. He was diagnosed with a severely progressive form of Multiple Sclerosis in June of 2022. Our most recent album A Special Place In Hell speaks to the experience of James’ struggle and decline. He became physically incapable of his role in the band shortly after we recorded A Special Place In Hell. James died of complications of this disease on December 28th, 2024, the anniversary of the death of one of our favorite musicians, Lemmy from Motörhead. While I was caregiving for him on home hospice, he told me that ‘You got to keep going Jax, keep Miss Queue going.’ That is exactly what I plan on doing, no matter what.” – Jaclyn Hunter
Lyrically dark and musically pleasing, Miss Queue uses traumatic incidents, strange stories, and sordid experiences to create songs of woe for your listening pleasure. All lyrics are original. Jaclyn Hunter’s vocals are soulful and authentic. Her guitar playing evokes a flowing energy of emotion.
Miss Queue recorded A Special Place In Hell in January of 2024 at Full Well Recording in Phoenix, AZ with Kolby Peoples (Rorschach Test) and producer Mike Bolenbach.
Miss Queue released several singles throughout last year. The full album was released in November 2024.
