O’FALLON, Mo. – The O’Fallon Hoots, proud members of the Prospect League, today announced that the O’Fallon Hoots were named Organization of the Year by the Prospect League Board of Directors. The Prospect League Organization Awards recognize the best of the Prospect League for their hard work put in each season as seen by their peers. Organization of the Year is awarded to the organization that stood above the rest as high quality in every aspect in 2024.
“We are honored to be recognized as Organization of the Year by our friends and partners with the Prospect League,” Hoots General Manager David Schmoll said. “This achievement reflects the hard work and passion of our entire team, from our front office, ownership, part-time staff, interns, coaches and players. We love serving this great community in O’Fallon and look forward to continuing to push our mission forward!”
The 2024 Hoots took major steps both on and off the field. On the first, the team finished the season two games over .500 in the South Division gauntlet, while boasting a trio of Western Conference All Stars. Off the field, the team sold out their Home Opener for the first time in team history and their first Friday of the year for the second year in a row. For the fourth consecutive season, the team grew in overall building attendance, setting a new record of over 28.5k in 2024, and in total number of business partners.p
