St. Louis CITY SC Academy defender Owen Jorgensen has been called up to participate with the U.S. Soccer U-15 Men’s Youth National Team in the upcoming Domestic Training Camp in West Palm Beach, Florida. The camp will run from October 13 to October 19.
“We’re delighted that Owen has earned his second opportunity with the youth national team,” said Dale Schilly, St. Louis CITY SC Academy Director. “Owen is strong defensively but what really sets him apart is his distribution and attacking contributions from his center back position. I’m confident that this experience against other top talents will improve his game.”
Jorgensen joins a growing list of St. Louis CITY SC academy players who has been called up to represent the national team. Jorgensen is the ninth CITY SC academy product to represent the USYNT joining Mykhi Joyner, Lorenzo Cornelius, Emiliano Chavez, Caden Glover, Miguel Perez, Tyson Pearce, Fritz Volmar and Aaron Heard.
