A lot of Swifties have been expecting a ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ release date any day now, but last night at The Grammy Awards, Taylor announced (while winning her 13th Grammy) that she would be releasing her newest album ‘The Tortures Poets Department’ on April 19th.
“This is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number, I don’t know of I’ve ever told you that. I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. I know the way the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans. So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19th. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department. I’m gonna go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you, I love you.”
The album is available for preorder on her website. There will be several versions available for purchase, including a CD, cassette, vinyl, and digital album.
