Saint Louis right side Megan Gilbert had a match-high 13 kills and hit .522 as the Billikens swept visiting La Salle on Senior Day (25-17, 25-18, 25-20). SLU rises to 20-9 overall, the highest win total for Saint Louis since the 2009 campaign.

The sweep is the Bills’ 10th of the season. Saint Louis has only been swept once this year (8/30 v. Alabama).

The Billikens recorded 11 service aces, the most Saint Louis has ever had in a three set match. Lauren Leverenz led SLU with three aces, followed by Mackenzie Long, Nenye Okoro and Danielle Rygelski, who had two each.

As a team, Saint Louis posted a .284 hitting percentage while holding La Salle to a .079 hitting percentage.

With the win, the Billikens finish Atlantic 10 play with a 9-5 record, tying Duquesne, Rhode Island and VCU for third in the conference. Saint Louis wins the four-way tiebreak, earning the third seed in the A-10 Championship in Dayton, Ohio on Nov. 21-23.
