The St. Louis Blues today announced the launch of a new team-oriented podcast called “The Training Room,” hosted by Blue Note+ Analyst Joey Vitale. The podcast will release new episodes every other Wednesday on the St. Louis Blues’ official YouTube channel and on all major podcast platforms (including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Amazon Music) throughout the season, entertaining fans with in-depth conversations with current players, Blues alumni, and special guests. The pilot episode featuring Blues defenseman Brandon Carlo and Episode 2 featuring Blues Captain Robert Thomas are both available now.

“The Training Room” was named by Vitale and former Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo, to reflect their experience that the best stories are told in the training room of an NHL locker room.
“The Training Room is where some of the best stories happen,” said Vitale. “It’s where guys spend time together, let their guard down and have some of their best conversations. We wanted to bring that atmosphere to our fans and give them a different look at the personalities of their favorite players.”
