Lucky Energy Unveils Cleaner, More Premium Identity at NACS, Anchored by “Every Day Is a Miracle” Mission

Lucky Energy introduced a fully refreshed brand identity at the NACS Show, signaling a clearer, more grown-up direction for its energy drinks and energy gummies while keeping the products’ core formulas and pricing intact. Developed with creative agency Dayjob, the new look and messaging are on display at Booth N929.

The redesign centers on a simple but pointed idea: luck is not random chance but a mindset people can choose and act on. That thinking is captured in the brand’s updated mission statement, “Every day is a miracle.” Founder Richard Laver described the shift as more focused and mature without losing the personal quality that has defined the company. “Lucky has always come from a deeply personal place: the feeling that being here, getting another day and having the chance to make something of it is extraordinary,” he said. “This new identity captures that idea. It is cleaner, sharper, and more grown-up, but it still has the same heart. We are not telling people to wait around for luck. We are inviting them to recognize it, create it, and bring good energy to whatever comes next.”

Visually, the new cans replace the previous design language with a black-and-white base, a bolder and more dynamic Lucky wordmark that continues the brand’s tape motif, and a clearer hierarchy of functional benefits. Color appears only in the flavor graphics, creating a deliberately minimalist shelf presence that Lucky says feels more premium and helps the product stand out in a crowded cooler while making its simple formula easier to understand. The same identity system extends across both energy drinks and energy gummies, updating the brand’s tone, messaging, lifestyle approach, and overall positioning.

Product specifications for the drinks remain unchanged—same formula, caffeine level, can size, and price—while the energy gummies have been reformulated with additional fiber. Lucky is positioning itself between traditional performance-oriented energy brands and newer wellness-leaning entrants. Rather than following the industry trend toward 12-ounce slim cans, the company is emphasizing the 16-ounce format that has long been preferred by core energy-drink consumers and has seen limited recent innovation. The 16-ounce can will stay the primary offering; 12-ounce versions are planned mainly for club channels. The formula stays zero-sugar and zero-calorie, paired with a voice described as optimistic, adventurous, and grounded in gratitude rather than aggressive hype.

By pairing a stripped-back visual system and a gratitude-centered mission with continued focus on the familiar 16-ounce can, Lucky is attempting to stand out as a more refined but still approachable option in a category often defined by extremes. The Q4 rollout will test whether the cleaner identity and “every day is a miracle” framing resonate with both existing fans and new shoppers.
