Marvel Television's VisionQuest | This Wednesday | Only on Disney+

See the series critics are calling "a genuine love letter to WandaVision fans." Marvel Television's #VisionQuest streams this Wednesday, only on Disney+.

Marvel Television has released a new teaser for VisionQuest, the limited series set to conclude the WandaVision–Agatha All Along trilogy when it premieres exclusively on Disney+ on October 14. The latest footage continues to spotlight Paul Bettany’s return as the rebooted White Vision while teasing the lingering impact of Wanda Maximoff’s legacy and the complicated bond with a mysterious teenager who may be his son.

The series follows Vision after he escapes those seeking to weaponize him and goes into hiding. Searching for purpose, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming—including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron, voiced once again by James Spader. That quiet existence is upended by a bounty that forces him on the run alongside Thomas Shepard (Ruaridh Mollica), a teen who appears connected to the soul of Tommy Maximoff, one of the twins Wanda created during the events of WandaVision.

Recent promotional material, including the newest teaser, leans into these family and identity themes. Footage has referenced Wanda’s influence (without confirming an on-screen return from Elizabeth Olsen), shown Vision grappling with memories that are not fully his own, and highlighted tense interactions involving Ultron and the young companion. Showrunner Terry Matalas has described the series as taking place years after WandaVision, roughly concurrent with the timeline of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and emphasized that Vision’s existential questions form the core of the story. Matalas has also pushed back on cameo speculation while acknowledging that Wanda’s shadow still shapes the narrative.

The eight-episode series arrives with a two-episode premiere on October 14, followed by double-episode drops on October 21 and October 28, then single episodes on November 4 and the finale on November 11. It is written and executive produced by Matalas, with additional direction from Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali. The supporting cast includes Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire, and James D’Arcy, among others.

As the final chapter in this particular MCU corner, VisionQuest positions Vision’s personal quest against the larger Marvel landscape, with the series finale landing just weeks before Avengers: Doomsday. The latest teaser reinforces the show’s focus on memory, parenthood, and the uneasy coexistence of man and machine—elements that have defined Vision’s journey since his introduction in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

VisionQuest begins streaming October 14 on Disney+.
