Blues-rock fans in the St. Louis area are in for an unforgettable evening on Monday, April 20, 2026, when GRAMMY-nominated legends Gov’t Mule co-headline a special show with the acclaimed sister duo Larkin Poe at The Factory in Chesterfield, Missouri. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show kicking off at 7:30 p.m. This all-ages event promises a night of raw guitar-driven energy, soulful vocals, and improvisational jams that highlight the best of modern Southern rock and blues.

Led by the iconic Warren Haynes—a GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, and producer known for his work with the Allman Brothers Band and his solo career—Gov’t Mule has long been a cornerstone of the jam-band and blues-rock scenes. Since forming in 1994, the band has built a reputation for powerful live performances, blending heavy psychedelia, funk, jazz influences, and heartfelt storytelling. Their latest album, Peace… Like a River, showcases their continued evolution with fresh material that balances gritty riffs and emotional depth. Haynes’ masterful guitar work, paired with the tight rhythm section of bassist Jorgen Carlsson, drummer Matt Abts, and keyboardist Danny Louis, ensures every set is unpredictable and electrifying.

Sharing the bill is Larkin Poe, the GRAMMY-winning duo of sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell. Hailing from Georgia and based in Nashville, the pair has earned widespread praise for their fierce slide guitar, rootsy songwriting, and dynamic sibling harmonies. Their sound fuses blues, rock, Americana, and a touch of Southern grit, with recent releases highlighting their growth into a full-band force. Coming off a banner year and with a packed 2026 schedule—including festival appearances and headline dates—this co-headlining run marks an exciting collaboration of two acts that share a deep respect for blues traditions while pushing boundaries.

This April 20 date in Chesterfield is part of a broader spring 2026 co-headlining tour between Gov’t Mule and Larkin Poe, which kicked off April 14 in Kansas City and includes stops across the Midwest and South before wrapping in Nashville on April 22. The pairing feels like a natural fit: both acts deliver high-octane, guitar-centric sets rooted in blues and rock, promising extended jams, guest sit-ins, and plenty of crowd-pleasing moments.

Gov’t Mule – Warren Haynes [guitar, vocals], Matt Abts [drums], Danny Louis [keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals], and Kevin Scott [bass] – released their 12th studio album, Peace…Like A River (Fantasy Records), in 2023 to high praise. Hailed as “perfection,” “captivating,” “riveting,” and among the band’s best, the 12-song rock collection is highlighted by the singles “Dreaming Out Loud” featuring Ivan Neville and Ruthie Foster, “Same As It Ever Was” and “Made My Peace” as well as additional guest appearances from Billy F Gibbons, Billy Bob Thornton and CelissePRESS HERE to listen and PRESS HERE to watch a documentary on the making of the album. To kick off 2026, the renowned quartet performed their 50th show at NYC’s famed Beacon Theatre on New Year’s Eve, which saw Haynes playing three iconic guitars from the 1970s for the special evening.

Since releasing Peace…Like A RiverHaynes issued his fourth solo album, Million Voices Whisper, in 2024 and followed that up with The Whisper Sessions, a stripped-down companion album to Million Voices Whisper, in September 2025. Both albums, available via Fantasy Records, were produced by Haynes and feature his longtime Allman Brothers Band bandmate Derek Trucks on multiple tracks. Million Voices Whisper – Haynes’ first solo release in nearly a decade – is a searing collection of soulful blues-rock. On the opposite end of the spectrum, The Whisper Sessions is an intimate compilation that peels back the layers to spotlight Haynes’ soulful voice, masterful guitar work, and the heartfelt storytelling at the core of his music. PRESS HERE to listen to Million Voices WhisperPRESS HERE for the deluxe version, and PRESS HERE to listen to The Whisper Sessions.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to catch two powerhouse acts sharing the stage. Whether you’re a longtime Mule-head, a Larkin Poe convert, or just a fan of epic live music, this April 20 show at The Factory is shaping up to be one of the spring’s must-see concerts.
