The St. Louis Battlehawks have signed running back Rahjai Harris, a former East Carolina University standout, to bolster their backfield ahead of the upcoming UFL season.
Harris, a 5’11”, 214-pound native of Duncan, South Carolina, played five seasons at ECU (2020-24), appearing in 50 games. He rushed for 3,096 yards on 695 carries (4.5 YPC) with 29 touchdowns, plus 61 receptions for 398 yards and 4 scores. He ranks second in program history in rushing yards and tied for third in rushing TDs.
His senior year included 1,166 yards and 11 TDs, capped by a 220-yard MVP performance in the 2024 Military Bowl against NC State—an AAC bowl record. Harris earned All-AAC honors twice and attended Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp in 2025.
The physical, versatile runner brings durability and big-play ability to St. Louis’ offense in the fast-paced UFL format. Battlehawks fans will watch closely as he aims to make an immediate impact.
