The Boston Red Sox have signed 25-year-old right-handed reliever Osvaldo Berrios to a minor league contract with an invitation to big-league spring training.
The Puerto Rican pitcher was originally drafted by Oakland in 2017 and spent 2024-2025 in the St. Louis Cardinals system (Springfield and Memphis) after a strong independent league stint in 2024 with the Gateway Grizzlies.
