Los Angeles-based, Swedish-origin electronic metal band Solence has dropped their fiery new single, “Wish You The Worst,” on August 15, 2025, via Better Noise Music. This track serves as the third single from their upcoming fifth album, Angels Calling, set for release on October 3, 2025. Known for their genre-bending fusion of pop hooks, electronic elements, and melodic metal intensity, Solence delivers an unapologetic anthem that resonates with raw emotion and cathartic energy.
Frontman Markus Videsäter describes “Wish You The Worst” as a song for those who have been deeply hurt by others. “Some people just want to destroy everything around them…this song is for them,” he says. The track’s lyrics, including lines like “Wish you the worst / Still hope you crash crash crash and you burn / Long for the day you are gone from this earth,” pull no punches, channeling anger and empowerment into a high-energy, sing-along anthem. Videsäter notes that the song was born from a collaborative session with friend Jimmy, filling a gap on the album for a true “f**k you anthem.”

“Wish You The Worst” follows two previously released singles from Angels Calling: “Where Were You..?” (May 13, 2025) and “Dead_Alive” (June 27, 2025), which have collectively garnered over 147,000 views for their lyric videos.
