This Caramelized Peach Bacon Cheeseburger is a gourmet twist on the classic cheeseburger. Juicy beef patties are topped with crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and sweet, caramelized peach slices, creating a deliciously unique flavor combination that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 peach, sliced
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
- 1 tomato, sliced (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Bacon: Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Caramelize the Peaches: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add peach slices and brown sugar. Cook until peaches are softened and caramelized, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
- Prepare the Patties: Divide ground beef into four equal portions. Shape into patties and season with salt and pepper. Cook on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until done to your liking. During the last minute, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Assemble the Burgers: Toast the burger buns. Place lettuce on the bottom half, followed by a beef patty with melted cheese, a tomato slice, crispy bacon, and caramelized peach slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can add a splash of balsamic glaze over the caramelized peaches.
- Substitute cheddar cheese with your preferred type of cheese, such as Swiss or gouda.
