GOOSE ‘jam’ packed The Pageant

GOOSE’s show Wednesday night at The Pageant was exactly what this old school [Widespread] “Panic” fan needed!   They brought the heat with jam-heavy sets and didn’t let up.

The band opened with “The Whales”, a song off their latest album, Dripfield, and got the sold out crowd on their feet with a nice little jam tucked in at the end.  They closed the first set with the funky track, “So Ready”.

The second set of the night did not disappoint as the band opened it with “Hungersite > Magic Carpet Ride”, as well as a cover of  Bobby Blue Bland’s “Turn On Your Lovelight”, channeling the Dead and a nod to Col. Bruce.  The vibe in the room was so infectious that people of all ages danced in the aisles.

GOOSE jammed an excellent show, the crowd was pumped, and the intimacy of The Pageant was the perfect room for such a performance.
