Saint Louis senior defender Kacey Bright (Fenton, Mo./Rockwood Summit H.S.) has been selected to the Atlantic 10 women’s soccer preseason All-Conference team by a vote of the league’s head coaches.
Bright started 16 games last season, giving her 37 career starts. She played a key role in SLU’s strong defensive performance in 2015, helping the Billikens post a 1.07 goals against average in all games and a 0.95 GAA in conference contests.
The Billikens open the regular season Friday, Aug. 19, at Hermann Stadium with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Kansas State. The game is one of nine home contests on the 2016 slate.
