Saint Louis’ men’s and women’s track and field teams both took first place this weekend at the SLU Invitational, which was held at the SLU Medical Center Stadium on the University campus.

Among the numerous first-place finishes for the Billikens was Wes Schoenthal’s time in the 1,500 meters. He broke his own school record in the event and set a SLU Medical Center Stadium record with a time of 3:51.30.

Emma Kidd won the women’s 1,500 meters with a PR of 4:36.96. The top five finishers in the women’s 10,000 meters were Billikens, led by Elis Marker’s time of 36:43.31.

Ann Harlos took home first-place honors in both the 100-meter hurdles (14.74) and 400-meter hurdles (1:02.68). Stephanie Uhrich won the high jump with a mark of 1.63 meters.

On the men’s side, Griffin McCurren won the 400 meters with a time of 49.91. Matt Prest took home first-place honors in the 10,000 meters, crossing the finish in 31:36.98.Â

The men’s 4×400-meter relay, comprised of Kyle Clinkingbeard, Josh Freivogel, Nathan Hall and McCurren, took first with a time of 3:19.59.
