The St. Louis Blues and Gray Media have agreed to a multi-year deal that will put 10 selected Blue Note+ telecasts on free over-the-air television across the team’s five-state territory, beginning this season.

The “Thursday Night Blues” package focuses exclusively on games played on Thursday evenings or afternoons. It marks the third year of the Blues-Gray partnership and moves the simulcasts onto Gray’s new ABC 32 station in St. Louis. The arrangement covers more than 4.8 million television households, giving fans new ways to watch via antenna as well as cable, satellite, and streaming providers.

Chris Zimmerman, Blues President and CEO of Business Operations, said the club’s priority with Blue Note+ has been broad access and multiple viewing options. He noted that the expanded Gray partnership doubles the number of over-the-air telecasts compared with last year and praised the company’s growing network of affiliates as a strong way to reach fans throughout the region.

The 10 games scheduled to air live on First Alert ABC (Channel 32) in St. Louis are:

  • October 22 vs. Vegas (7 p.m.)
  • November 5 at New Jersey (6 p.m.)
  • November 19 at Pittsburgh (6 p.m.)
  • December 17 at Boston (6 p.m.)
  • December 31 at Vegas (2 p.m.)
  • January 21 at Montreal (6 p.m.)
  • January 28 vs. Colorado (7 p.m.)
  • February 25 vs. Vancouver (7 p.m.)
  • March 11 vs. San Jose (7 p.m.)
  • March 25 vs. New York Islanders (7 p.m.)

Viewers outside St. Louis should check local listings or stlouisblues.com/watch for exact channels and start times in their markets.

JD Sosnoff, Vice President and General Manager of KMOV, called the multi-year extension a history-making milestone that positions First Alert 4 on ABC as the top broadcast destination for sports in St. Louis. He highlighted the collaborative relationship and the shared focus on fan-friendly programming.

Beyond the game telecasts, the partnership brings back a Blues Weekly show and a regular Blues feature on First Alert 4 (KMOV) newscasts. Gray Media will distribute the simulcasts beyond the St. Louis market and into Illinois, reaching additional cities that include Kansas City; Springfield, Missouri; Cape Girardeau, Missouri/Paducah, Kentucky; Quincy, Illinois; Peoria, Illinois; Topeka, Kansas; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Davenport, Iowa; Evansville, Indiana; and Ottumwa, Iowa.

Each simulcast uses the Blue Note+ production, with play-by-play from Chris Kerber, analysis from Joey Vitale, studio hosting by Andy Strickland, and contributions from analysts Bernie Federko, Jamie Rivers, and Cam Janssen. Pre- and postgame shows will remain exclusive to Blue Note+ and will not air on ABC 32.

Blue Note+ remains the primary television home for Blues hockey, carrying 73 games during the 2026-27 regular season. All 84 regular-season games will also be available on radio via 101 ESPN and the Blues Radio Network.
