Molly Hatchet Drop “Once A Gambler” Video

Southern rock legends Molly Hatchet are set to make a triumphant return this fall with the announcement of their upcoming studio album, Lost Horizon, scheduled for global release on November 27 via Steamhammer. To kick off the album rollout, the band has premiered the project’s lead single and accompanying music video, “Once A Gambler.”

The newly released track encapsulates the high-stakes, unapologetic spirit that has defined Molly Hatchet’s signature sound for decades. Built around driving guitar riffs and unyielding energy, “Once A Gambler” explores the mindset of taking risks and living life on the edge without looking back.

Guitarist Bobby Ingram offered insight into the inspiration behind the track, framing life itself as an all-in proposition:

“Win or lose, playing the game, living your life at high speed. Gambling that the winner takes it all. Once a gambling man, always a gambling man, with every aspect of life. Always thinking you are ready to bet it all, having a fierce attitude with no regrets. Living everyday with the positive attitude of betting everything. Even if losing it didn’t matter. The next day you were back at sitting down and gambling to win as much as you can. Never looking back, always looking forward and betting on your life’s winning to live another day and start it all over again but in another town when the winnings were good.”
